Anson eg472 crashed high on the mountain of moel hebog above beddgelert on the 13th june 1944, with the loss 4 crew sgt harry howard survived by being thrown out as the plane crashed up the slope .
The remains are spread all thought the scree with the undercarriage remains here being the largest left .

The aircraft hit in the middle of this picture and burned out in the area at the bottom of the picture there are hundreds of small remains and wood between the 2 points!

Aran Fawddwy
On this visit to aran fawddwy with sean and mick we got to find remains of p-4741-6246 and beaufighter rd210 the pictures abve are some of the very sparse relics of the p47 including the brake unit above, the fact that this has survived at the site is a miracle [bloody magpies] it was returned to it's hiding place !
These pics are of the beaufighters remains which are spread all though the scree from the impact point [above] hight in the gully down to the lake .
