This is the crash site of hudson v9127 which hit the hill in the back ground on the 10/2/1942 with the loss of the of crew of four the site is about 100yrds from the a44 and well fenced so its a ask the owner site !
will be back out this way as revisiting 3 wrecksites near here a hunter p-38 and battle didn't get to see this time bit overhung !shamefull plug but the beer at the "halfway inn "at pisgah is way too good and you can pitch a tent great if you live off a zx10 lol
