Anson LV152

Anson LV152 was on a gunnery exercise from R.A.F.Mona on the 9/9/43 near Trefor village while flying along the coast the plane tried to fly between the shore and a large hopper just off shore sadly the hopper carried a 1inch cable to support the cars from the mine workings above the village damaging the plane [the separation on the tail in the picture gives a clue to the damage ] and causing it to crash seconds later !
This is the only visible link to the loss of LV152 the old base of one of the hopper towers , the Anson came down to the top right of this picture i believe !.
There were 3 survivors, but sadly also 3 losses in this incident.
