Lancaster RA571 crashed on to Beamsley beacon north of ilkley moor on the 5/11/1945 in heavy mist with the loss of 4 of the Canadian crew there were 4 survivors !
At the site there were many small items that have been dug up recently from one of the burial pits, wonder what has been taken away ?I left the site as i found, it it is up to others morals if they do the same?
